Fatal Crash In White County, Illinois

There was a fatal car accident Saturday night (May 30, 2015) in White County, Illinois.

The accident involved a driver whose pickup truck left the roadway for an unknown reason, and struck a tree.

The driver was identified as John D. Aud, 33, of Brownsville.  He was pronounced dead at the accident scene at approximately 8:30 p.m.

At the time of the accident, it was raining, which may have played a role in the fatal crash.
