Car Crash In Edwardsville Injures Three People

There was a car crash this afternoon (November 22, 2014) in Edwardsville, Illinois.

According to the Edwardsville Police Department, the accident involved a collision between a small sedan and full-size SUV, at the intersection of Governor’s Parkway and Plum Road.

Three people in the sedan were injured; two were airlifted to a St. Louis hospital with accident injuries that were described as “serious” and the third injured occupant of the car was taken to Anderson Hospital.

The passengers in the SUV were not injured, Whitaker said. While the crash is still under investigation, he said it appeared that the sedan may have turned in front of the SUV. No citations were issued at the scene.
