White County Motorcycle Accident

There was a motorcycle accident in Southern Illinois (White County) Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2014.

According to the Illinois State Police, a motorcyclist was riding on County Road 1950 near Route 14 and lost control of the bike.  As he did so, he ran off the road and into a ditch.

The motorcyclist, identified as Alan Stratton, 27, was taken to a hospital in Evansville, IN for treatment of his injuries.

Police then charged with Stratton with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
