Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Perry County

There was a Southern Illinois fatal motorcycle accident Sunday morning (May 4, 2014) in Perry County, Illinois.

The motorcycle accident happened at approximately 11:20 a.m. Sunday, as a car pulled out in front of a motorcycle at the intersection of Illinois 152 and Illinois Route 127/13.

The motorcycle struck the car’s driver’s side, and the motorcyclist was ejected.

The motorcyclist was identified as Elbert Gualdoni, 78, of Murphysboro.  He was pronounced dead at the accident scene by the Perry County coroner.

An investigation into this motorcycle accident is being performed by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, Perry County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
